    About Us

Shade-Grown Coffees from the Farms of Coorg

Curating micro and nano lots from the small and medium coffee growers of Kodagu, inspired by the landscapes and biodiversity of the Western Ghats.

Through CoorgExpress and the Kaapi Trails initiative, we connect coffee drinkers with the farmers, forests, and traditions that shape Coorg coffee.

    About CoorgExpress

CoorgExpress is a coffee brand built around the small and medium coffee growers of Kodagu (Coorg), one of India’s most important coffee-producing regions known for its distinctive shade-grown coffees of the Western Ghats.

Nearly 90% of coffee farmers in Coorg are small and medium growers, many of whom traditionally sell their harvest through intermediaries in the value chain. CoorgExpress was created to bring these coffees closer to consumers while giving greater visibility to the farmers and plantations that produce them.

We curate micro and nano lots from Coorg, often naturally processed or sun-dried, reflecting the authentic character of the region’s coffee. Many of our coffees are inspired by the diverse landscapes of Coorg - from plantations around Brahmagiri and the wildlife-rich regions of Western Coorg to estates across the Kodagu coffee belt. By working closely with farmers, CoorgExpress aims to showcase coffees that are traceable, region-driven, and rooted in the heritage of Coorg’s coffee culture.

    Our Vision

Through CoorgExpress and the Kaapi Trails initiative, we aim to celebrate the true story of Coorg coffee while creating greater visibility and opportunity for the farmers who grow it.

By combining traditional farming knowledge with modern tools, practical learning, and direct market access, we hope to ensure that the small and medium coffee growers of Kodagu benefit from the evolving global coffee landscape. From the farms of Coorg to your cup.
